I live the life of a Stay-At-Home-Mom. Home-schooling four of my five kiddos. I'm a bit of a home body. If I could, I really would stay at home. Cozied up in my warm jammies, next to the fire, with my cup of coffee, and a good book. But there are piano lessons and Bible studies, youth group meetings and sports practices, grocery shopping and doctor's appointments... and on and on. Who coined that silly SAHM title anyway? lol.
Love the ones who walk beside you...
my family
(Teddy, Nick, Stacy, Kaleb, Indy, Adam, Nate)
My husband, Adam. My best friend... the one I laugh with, dream with, Love. We met in 8th grade, friends for nearly a decade, dated for 6 months, and got married when we were both 22. He keeps me sane... and drives me crazy. Ahhh...Marriage. (said with a gasp of exasperation, followed by a smile of contentment. Ya, you know what I mean!) LOL! Thank you Lord!!
The Boys...
Nate... my 14 year old Freshman in high school, he's far more mature than I was even in my 20's I think! He's bright, loves to read, determined to do well in his education because he "wants a good job as an adult". (His dad and I never thought that far ahead... don't know where he got it.) He loves the Lord, Loves the Bible, loves youth group. Loves a good book and a challenge. Loves to rap-a-tap-tap the beat of a song on any surface that makes a noise.
Nick... In the 7th grade and perfectly described as a
Teddy... 8 years old and scooting along with 2nd grade! So excited to finally "get" reading. My, how the last 2 years have flown by! He is my sweet-tempered "pleaser", who tries to figure out how all things work, taking them apart and putting them back together. Organized, and methodical, and the cutest, care-free, contented smile on his face.
Indy... who has recently requested to be called Indrias again. Oh but "Indy" is so cute my baby boy! Can you really already be 7? In the first grade and learning to read and write and add and subtract, but he'd rather be singing and skipping, and running and bouncing, and leaping and throwing, and laughing.
Home is where the heart is.
