Chocolate and My New Suburbia...

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

1. I am so hooked on Wordfued. Who knew... I could play scrabble with 5 different people in completely different places and various walks of life at random times throughout my day. I'm loving this... And it kind of helps that I've been winning. :)

2. We got a new (to us) Suburban! I am so excited about this beautiful, roomy, new... well, home in a way. haha... we do spend a lot of time in it! My Grandma asked me how we like the new suburbia. "It's a Suburban Granny." "Oh ya... suburbia? Isn't that like a neighborhood? I wonder why it's called a Suburban." "Maybe because you can fit the whole neighborhood in it."

3. Ghirardelli chocolate squares are soooo heavenly! I missed out on a weekend trip with my mom and sister and nieces. But they brought me back a bag of heavenly chocolates! Mmmmm. I didn't have to walk all over the city and I still got chocolates!

4. This seemed like a very appropriate blog post since I'm up at 5am!!!! My brain thinks kind of miscellany at this hour. Insomnia is getting the best of me lately. (Do you think it could be the chocolates? Shhhh don't say it!)

5. My husband started running. I am so proud of him! All week long he's been waking up and heading out the door for a run, then working out with the bowflex, and even counting his calories. He's not even noticeably overweight.... But the scale at the dr's office read a little too high for his liking. He has too many health risks in his genetics and, being a nurse, he wants to keep it in check. He keeps talking about how important it is... and for some reason he thinks his motivation is going to rub off on me somehow... but he's really just confused about that.

6. I'm in a reading slump. I usually love to read and sometimes have multiple books going at the same time.... Bible, devotions, novel, Christian classics, biographies, health or recipe books, historical fiction.... and so on. But, aside from my Bible reading,  I haven't found anything to keep my interest lately. Any recommendations?

Hope you all have a blessed Monday!!

Happy Harvest
